Lauren Reynolds
Lauren Reynolds is a teacher of art and English and a writer of poetry. She has two previously published chapbooks and a full-length collection. She has a master’s degree in creative writing, with a concentration in poetry. Recurring themes include: memory, loss, coming of age and photography as an expression of the impermanence of time. She writes about the people she knows and imagines they might live, in the remnants of the once booming “car capital of the world”, in Southeast Michigan. These are narratives of a world that has moved on, and those who struggle to make ends meet.
