Carol Cohen
Carol had a lifelong love affair with landscape photography, and as a child collected picture post cards of beautiful scenery. She began studying photography seriously in her 30’s to discover why her photographs didn’t look like Ansel Adams’ images. Carol said, “They never did, but I sure learned a lot along the way!” She met many wonderful mentors from Ruth Bernhard to Art Wolfe. The highlight of her education was being accepted to the Ansel Adams workshop in 1981. Carol has a strong graphic sense and tends to see details in the larger landscape.
