She decided to submit poems to Tattoo Highway after passing a flame-red mobile tattoo truck on Rt. 95 in Providence, with the logo "INFLICTING INK". Mary Ann's poems have most recently appeared in Slow Trains, and are forthcoming in Tribute to Orpheus: Prose & Poetry about Music or Musicans, Vol. 2 (Kearney Street Books). Her translation of Leonard Nathan's poetry into German will appear in Trans-Lit2. |
